She saved the eggs of the magical eagles of the sacred peaks from winged serpents from an evil plane of existence. Striking the last deadly blow to the last of the snakes, Hrubin slipped into a cliff and she was never found.

Exploring the deadly endless dungeon beneath the valley's highest mountain, Rodior unearthed the legendary ice sword called Light Horizon. The glow of its blade made him blind forever, but thanks to that sword Queen Elodia defeated the armies of the usurper Edenon.

In the time of the bloody clashes between the Elven tribes, Thool saved the life of Princess Elodia by stopping a horde of skeleton warriors sent by the usurper Edenon to kill her. Wandering in the valley he came across a Pegasus wounded by saber-toothed tigers. Arlinda nursed and cared for the Pegasus for many days so that it would be able to fly again. When the magical creature was ready to fly again by then, the tigers returned. Arlinda defended the creature to the bitter end, killing all the tigers, but the wounds he sustained in the encounter were fatal to her. The Pegasus watched over Arlinda until her death, then resumed the road to heaven.

The epic-religious poem ..... ("The Last Verse" in the language of the hobbits of Hawk Peak) is by all considered a sacred and revered text, the highest expression of poetry and knowledge. Its author, Guillem the Bard wrote it on his return from the Valley, in a frenzy over what he had discovered there. After writing the poem's last verse, Guillem took his own life.

A spider-vampire named Uvul wrapped the moonlight in his web, plunging the Valley into total darkness. Rosena caught Uvul by surprise in his lair in the mountains and thrust the blade of her dagger between the spider-vampire's six eyes. Uvul perished, but Rosena, however, remained trapped in the spider’s web forever.

Stony Beard, a mockingly powerful wizard trapped the starlight under the eternally frozen surface of the lake of the Secret Pass; Qillov, with a blow of Rusty Fist, the iron mace from the infernal Goblin forges broke the thick blanket of ice finally releasing the starlight.
